A4 LNER 4495 ‘GREAT SNIPE’ circa 1937

This is a Hornby China-made, loco-drive, A4 locomotive.

 

This loco has been renamed & numbered by leading Super Detailing specialists 'PEASHOLM MODELS'. Finished as LNER number 4495 running in Apple Green and named ‘GREAT SNIPE’ using etched brass nameplates .The loco comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity as proof of alteration, detailed inner sleeve, and instructions. This is an exceptional piece of artwork from our Peasholm models stable, combined with the super detail of the china made loco drive Hornby A4 (R2373M); it makes this loco highly collectable.

 

 

 

 

The donor engine is the 2007 edition of ‘SILVER FOX’  (R2373M)
