This tender never came into being on the rail network.

It was commissioned for a collector with a Hornby Live Steam Mallard locomotive.

As the current Hornby locomotive (R 1041) has the incorrect tender complimenting the loco,

 this tender makes for a very unusual, but intriguing and attractive addition to the train.
